Why should I choose Great Parenting Simplified (GPS)?
Great Parenting Simplified (GPS) was founded by Jacqueline Green over 25 years ago and was born out of the need to find somebody who could help her with her own parenting stress. When she couldn’t find anybody, she became what she needed.

One of the main mantras of GPS is: “no parent left behind”. That means that we want all stressed out parents and caregivers to have access to help that will affect long lasting change in their lives. Our services and programs are in-depth and thorough, providing you with the tools necessary to parent through all stages of your kids lives, from toddler to adult!

Today, we have coaches all over the world and have worked with parents and caregivers on a global scale. Many of our GPS certified coaches came through our Inner Circle Program, so they know exactly where you are at.

Our Inner Circle graduates have had huge success as the result of being a part of our Inner Circle Program, read about some of their stories here [Testimonials]
Why work with Jacqueline and GPS certified coaches?
Hi, I’m Jacqueline Green, the founder of the movement that would go on to become the Great Parenting Simplified Nonprofit Cooperative. I have 25 years of experience as a parenting educator and have been privileged to interview over 150 of the top parenting experts throughout my career.

Most importantly, I have lived the pain of being a parenting disaster, which fuelled me to get the answers and the help I needed to become a parenting master. This is what I want for you too.

Arguably what I am most proud of as a parenting educator is having raised two happy, successful and well-adjusted adults, despite so many personal obstacles including my mental illness and a marital situation that was very challenging.

I have worked personally with hundreds of parents and caregivers, and to date have overseen over 150 parents complete our Inner Circle Programs.

Adopting the GPS approach to parenting can offer several benefits. Here are a few reasons why you should consider it:
  • Holistic Approach: The GPS approach to parenting takes a holistic view of parenting, considering not only the child's behaviors but also their emotions, thoughts, and needs. It focuses on nurturing the child's overall development.

By adopting the GPS approach to parenting, you can create a more harmonious and fulfilling relationship with your children, cultivating a positive and joyful atmosphere for everyone involved.
How is GPS different from other parenting programs?
Great question! GPS is different from other parenting programs in several ways:
  • Progression Steps: GPS utilizes a 5-step progressional approach that allows parents to implement and utilize their newly learned tools in real-time. This structured approach helps parents track their progress and make continuous improvements.
  • Direct Feedback and Guidance: Parents enrolled in GPS receive direct feedback and guidance from their coach. This personalized support helps parents understand and apply the tools and strategies effectively in their parenting journey.
  • Ongoing Support: GPS provides a supportive environment through small group discussions. In these small groups, parents can connect and form strong bonds with others who understand their challenges and experiences. This network can last beyond the program, providing ongoing support and connections for years to come.
  • Long-term Application: The skills and techniques learned in the GPS program can be used for many years. Graduates often report applying the program's steps in new ways as their children grow older, making it a valuable resource for long-term parenting success.
Is GPS only for specific age groups of children?
The tools we help you to master provide the foundation for great parenting. They are suitable for children of all ages. While most of our clients have school aged children. we have great success with grandparents and/or parents who are working on issues with their adult children as well as infants and toddlers.
What exactly is the Great Parenting Simplified Inner Circle and what does it include?
The Great Parenting Simplified Inner Circle (IC) is a coaching program designed to help parents transform their parenting approach and find effective solutions to their parenting challenges. It includes a 6-month online program where parents are given the 5 steps to Great Parenting Simplified and receive coaching to apply these tools to their specific situations.

One unique aspect of the program is that parents are placed in small groups of 4-6 individuals, who meet weekly online. These sessions are led by certified GPS coaches, who help keep participants on track and assist in customizing the assignments to suit their needs. Additionally, there are weekly larger group sessions with Jacqueline, the program creator, and other coaches, where parents can receive direct responses to their specific parenting issues. We have found that the online aspect of the program is as effective as in-person interactions.

The Inner Circle is primarily composed of professional women (and some dads) who have tried various approaches to parenting but find themselves frustrated and often losing their temper with their children. They are looking to have positive and fulfilling relationships with their kids and desire to enjoy parenting more. These parents are committed to investing the time and energy necessary to raise responsible, resilient, and joyful children.

The program is designed to be easily accessible and manageable for parents. Each week, participants receive two short 15-20 minute videos to watch at their own convenience. They then meet with their small group to discuss the videos, receive tailored homework for their unique family, and follow up on previous assignments. Jacqueline's coaching is available through various channels, ensuring that parents are never left feeling stuck or overwhelmed on their own.
Can GPS help with challenging behavior in children?
No matter what your situation looks like or what the challenging behavior is, we’ve seen it or something like it. You are not alone. Know that no matter what you are facing, we’ve got you covered. Our coaches will ensure that you get the support that you need.
What if you haven’t worked with somebody in my exact position?
If we haven't worked with a parent in your exact situation before, we will do our best to understand your unique circumstances during the Parent Support Sessions. These sessions allow us to gather more information about your specific situation and tailor our assistance accordingly.

The 5 steps that parents need to master came from over 20 years as a parenting educator, and have been tested and proven. To date, we haven’t found a situation where these 5 steps aren’t able to be utilized for a positive outcome.
What Results can I expect?
This program has the ability to completely transform your life and those of your family and loved ones. As with anything, it does take an investment in the content of the material and coming to the program ready, engaged, and open. When you can do this, you will see more results like the ones listed below:
  • See improvements in your child's behavior, communication skills, and overall development.
  • Build stronger relationships with your children based on trust, understanding, and open communication.
  • Develop effective discipline strategies that focus on teaching and guiding rather than punishing.
  • Have a better understanding of child development and age-appropriate expectations.
  • Feel more connected to your children and have a deeper understanding of their needs and emotions.
  • Build resilience and problem-solving skills in both yourself and your children.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing environment at home that encourages growth, learning, and exploration.
  • Create lasting memories and experiences with your children that will strengthen your bond.
  • Have a more balanced and fulfilling family life with a better work-life balance.
  • Experience increased self-awareness and personal growth as you navigate the challenges of parenthood.
  • Ultimately, become a more confident, knowledgeable, and effective parent who is equipped to handle any situation that comes your way.
How quickly can I expect results?
Results can vary depending on individual circumstances and the effort put into implementing the tools and techniques. Some people may see immediate improvements in their family relationships, while others may take more time to see noticeable changes.

It's important to approach this journey with realistic expectations and understand that lasting change takes time and consistency. The more you practice and apply the tools and techniques provided, the more effective they will become in improving your parenting skills and family dynamics.

By the end of the program, you will have gained a solid foundation of knowledge and strategies to confidently navigate the challenges of parenting. This will enable you to create a nurturing environment for your child to thrive, and in case you do encounter setbacks, you will have the ability to quickly get back on track.
Can I speak to some of your former clients to see what it was like to work with you and be a part of the inner circle program?
Absolutely! Check out the list of [testimonials] from past clients, and let us know who you’d like to talk to!
I am worried about not having enough time. What is reasonable to expect?
The suggested time commitment for the Great Parenting Simplified program is approximately 2 hours per week. This includes watching the weekly videos, participating in group sessions with Jacqueline and the senior coaches, and any additional coaching sessions. The program is designed to be flexible, allowing you to choose which aspects are most helpful to you and even multitask while listening. There is also a break week built in each month to catch up on any missed materials. If you do fall behind, coaching support is available to help you catch up. The goal is to ensure that no parent is left behind in the program.
What if my co-parent won’t participate
If your co-parent is unwilling to participate in the program, there are still steps you can take to address your parenting issues. It may be helpful for your co-parent to watch the 5 step videos, but even if they choose not to, you can still benefit from the program.

It is common for one parent to be more involved in parenting programs, and sometimes it takes the other parent seeing the positive changes you make before they become willing to participate. It is important to remember that not everyone sees parenting issues in the same way, and there can be various reasons for their lack of participation.

Regardless of the situation, the program will provide coaching and guidance to help you resolve co-parenting issues and improve your parenting skills. It is important to prioritize your own well-being and seek the help and support you need, even if your co-parent is not directly involved in the coaching program.

Remember, resolving these issues and finding ways to get your co-parent more involved can greatly benefit your family dynamics and create a healthier environment for your children.
My co-parent doesn’t want me spending the money
This is a common situation, and one that we are passionate about helping you to overcome. We have a blog post on the 7 steps to getting what you want from your co-parent, way more often. Oftentimes part of the problem is your co-parent doesn’t understand why you want to join the program. They are often trying to be good stewards of the family resources. Ask your coach to share the blog post with you, and/or to give you some coaching to help walk you through the process.
What if we can’t afford the investment?
This is something that your coach can help you with. We have some bursary money available and she can tell you how to apply. As well we have payment plans available. Also we have other options for support, so if the Inner Circle isn’t right for you, she can recommend something else.
